1. General

Welcome to Dexion Storage Solutions, operated by Storage Solution Specialists Pty Ltd (ABN 59 115 740 040), referred to throughout these Terms & Conditions as "we", "us" or "our".

These Terms & Conditions govern the purchase of goods through our website and the use of our online store.

By placing an order through our website, customers agree to these Terms & Conditions, subject to any rights and protections provided by Australian law.

These terms primarily apply to online purchases of shelving, racking components, warehouse storage accessories and related products.

Larger commercial projects, custom storage systems, engineering services and installation works may be subject to separate quotations and contractual agreements.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.

2. Products and Specifications

We supply industrial shelving, pallet racking components, warehouse storage accessories, binning systems and related storage equipment.

We endeavour to ensure that all product descriptions, specifications, dimensions, images and prices displayed on our website are accurate and current.

Product photographs and illustrations may be representative, and minor variations in colour, appearance or finish may occur.

Customers are responsible for reviewing product dimensions, configurations, quantities and compatibility before placing an order.

Where products are intended for structural storage applications, customers must ensure that the selected equipment is suitable for the intended loads, operating conditions and installation environment.

If customers are unsure whether a particular product is suitable for their application, we encourage them to contact our sales team before purchasing.

3. Pricing and Payment

All prices are quoted in Australian dollars (AUD).

Product prices are calculated excluding Goods and Services Tax (GST). Where required by Australian Consumer Law, the total GST-inclusive price will be displayed at least as prominently as the GST-exclusive price.

Applicable GST and the final amount payable will be clearly identified before an order is completed.

We reserve the right to update prices for future orders without prior notice.

Payments may be processed using one or more approved payment providers available at checkout.

Full payment is required before goods are released unless alternative payment arrangements have been agreed in writing.

If an incorrect price is displayed, we will contact the customer where necessary to discuss the available options. Any changes to an accepted order will be subject to the customer's agreement and applicable law.

4. Orders and Availability

All orders are subject to confirmation of payment, stock availability and any necessary verification.

Submitting an order does not guarantee immediate product availability.

Where stock is unavailable or a product cannot be supplied within the anticipated timeframe, we will contact the customer to discuss suitable alternatives, revised availability or an appropriate refund.

We reserve the right to decline an order for legitimate reasons, including suspected fraudulent activity, stock unavailability or an inability to supply the requested goods, subject to applicable law.

Customers are responsible for ensuring their order details, contact information and selected product specifications are correct.

5. Warehouse Collection

Customers may collect goods from the following locations:

Brisbane — Dexion Hendra

Operating hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm.

Dexion Hendra acts as an authorised collection and fulfilment location on behalf of Storage Solution Specialists Pty Ltd.

Collection is free of charge unless an additional service has been expressly agreed upon.

Customers will be notified by telephone or email when their goods are ready for collection.

Customers must wait for this notification before attending the nominated collection location.

Warehouse operating hours exclude public holidays and any notified closures.

6. Collection Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for arranging suitable transport to collect their goods.

Some products may be heavy, oversized or unsuitable for transportation in standard passenger vehicles.

Customers must ensure that their vehicle or transport provider has sufficient load capacity and suitable equipment for transporting the purchased goods safely.

Goods must be appropriately restrained and transported in accordance with applicable road transport and safety requirements.

Loading assistance may be available by prior arrangement and is subject to warehouse facilities, equipment availability and operational requirements.

Customers must provide sufficient order information to allow warehouse personnel to identify and release their goods.

7. Uncollected Orders

Customers are expected to collect their orders within fourteen (14) calendar days of receiving notification that their goods are ready for collection, unless an alternative collection date has been agreed upon.

Where goods remain uncollected after this period and the customer has not made contact, we may issue a reminder requesting that collection be arranged.

Where an order remains uncollected four (4) weeks after the original order date, despite reasonable attempts to contact the customer, we may review the order for cancellation.

Cancellation, resale, storage, disposal and refund arrangements will be handled in accordance with applicable law, including any requirements concerning uncollected goods.

Where a voluntary cancellation is accepted, a restocking fee or reasonable costs associated with specially manufactured goods may apply as outlined in Section 9.

Any refund will account for deductions only where those deductions are lawful and applicable.

Customers wishing to arrange collection outside the standard period should contact us before the collection deadline.

8. Delivery Arrangements

Our online store currently offers warehouse collection as the standard fulfilment method.

Delivery may be available through separate arrangement and quotation.

Where delivery is requested, any applicable freight charges, delivery conditions and expected timeframes will be communicated before the service is confirmed.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery information and advising of any site access limitations.

Unless expressly included in the delivery quotation, unloading equipment, specialised handling and installation services are not included.

Estimated delivery times are provided in good faith and may be affected by stock availability, manufacturing schedules or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Nothing in this section limits rights available under Australian Consumer Law.

9. Order Cancellations and Restocking Fees

Customers may request cancellation of an order at any time by contacting Storage Solution Specialists.

For voluntary cancellations, the following conditions apply:

  • Before picking commences: Orders may ordinarily be cancelled without a restocking fee, provided that no special manufacturing or non-recoverable costs have been incurred.

  • After picking commences: A restocking fee of 10% of the affected standard-goods value may apply.

  • Cut-to-size or specially manufactured products: Reasonable manufacturing, modification or procurement costs already incurred may be non-refundable where permitted by law and disclosed as part of the applicable order terms.

Cancellation charges will be assessed based on the status and nature of the order.

Where a customer wishes to change an existing order, we will endeavour to accommodate the request where practical.

Additional charges may apply if materials have already been prepared, modified or manufactured.

These cancellation and restocking conditions apply to voluntary cancellations and change-of-mind requests.

They do not limit any rights or remedies available under Australian Consumer Law, including where goods are faulty, unsafe, incorrectly described or otherwise fail to meet applicable consumer guarantees.

10. Returns and Refunds

Customers wishing to return goods should contact our team before returning any products.

Returns for change of mind are subject to approval and may be refused where permitted by law.

Where a voluntary return is accepted, goods may be required to be unused, complete and in a condition suitable for resale.

An applicable restocking fee may be charged for approved change-of-mind returns, provided the fee has been appropriately disclosed and agreed upon.

Specially manufactured, modified or cut-to-size products may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns.

Where goods fail to meet applicable consumer guarantees, customers are entitled to remedies under Australian Consumer Law.

Depending on the circumstances, these remedies may include repair, replacement, refund or compensation.

No restocking fee will be charged where a customer is exercising a statutory right to a remedy.

11. Product Warranties

Dexion products are supplied with the applicable manufacturer's warranty for the relevant product.

Eligible new products manufactured by Dexion Asia Pacific may qualify for the Dexion Lifetime Product Warranty.

This warranty covers specified structural failures and defects in materials or workmanship and is subject to the conditions established by the manufacturer.

Eligibility for the lifetime warranty may require registration, periodic inspections and compliance with ongoing maintenance requirements.

Other products and accessories may be covered by different manufacturer warranty arrangements.

Warranty coverage may be affected by circumstances including:

  • Misuse or improper handling

  • Loading beyond specified capacities

  • Accidental damage or forklift impact

  • Unauthorised alterations or modifications

  • Incorrect assembly or installation

  • Exposure to environmental conditions for which the product was not designed

  • Failure to follow applicable manufacturer maintenance or inspection requirements

These circumstances are assessed in accordance with the applicable manufacturer's warranty terms.

Any manufacturer's warranty is provided in addition to rights and remedies under Australian Consumer Law.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes, restricts or modifies applicable statutory consumer guarantees.

Customers seeking warranty assistance should contact our team with their proof of purchase and details of the reported issue.

12. Product Installation and Safe Use

Customers must ensure that products are assembled, installed, operated and maintained in accordance with applicable manufacturer instructions and safety requirements.

Shelving and racking systems must not be loaded beyond their specified capacities.

Products must not be modified or combined with incompatible components without appropriate approval.

Where racking or shelving suitability depends on engineering design, structural loading, existing equipment or site conditions, customers should obtain appropriate technical advice.

Unless expressly included in the order or a separate quotation, online product purchases do not include installation, site inspections, engineering certification or structural assessment.

Customers should contact our sales team where professional installation or technical assistance is required.

13. Inspection of Goods

Customers are encouraged to inspect their goods promptly following collection or delivery.

Where goods appear damaged, incomplete or inconsistent with the order, customers should notify us as soon as reasonably possible.

Relevant order details and photographs may assist us in investigating the issue.

Prompt notification allows us to resolve problems efficiently.

Failure to notify us within a particular timeframe does not automatically remove any rights or remedies provided by Australian Consumer Law.

14. Risk and Ownership

For warehouse collection orders, responsibility for the physical care and transportation of goods generally passes to the customer when the goods are handed over to the customer or their authorised representative, subject to applicable law.

Ownership of goods passes in accordance with the applicable sale arrangement, including any agreed payment requirements and rights provided by law.

15. Custom Projects and Commercial Quotations

Large warehouse storage projects, customised equipment, design services and installation works may be subject to separate quotations and contractual conditions.

Such agreements may establish additional requirements relating to engineering, drawings, site access, deposits, progress payments, variations and project completion.

Where separate project terms apply, they will be identified in the relevant quotation or agreement.

These online Terms & Conditions do not automatically replace separately agreed commercial contracts.

16. Intellectual Property

All website content, product images, drawings, technical specifications, graphics and other materials remain the property of their respective owners.

Unauthorised reproduction or commercial use of these materials is prohibited except where permitted by law or authorised in writing.

Technical drawings and documents supplied for specific projects remain subject to any applicable contractual or licensing conditions.

17. Website Use

Customers must not misuse the website, attempt unauthorised access or interfere with its operation.

We reserve the right to update website information, available services and product listings.

Although reasonable care is taken to maintain website functionality and accuracy, uninterrupted availability cannot be guaranteed.

18. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes, restricts or modifies any right, guarantee, remedy or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified.

Subject to those rights, any exclusion or limitation of liability applies only to the extent permitted by law.

19. Privacy

Personal information collected through the website and online store is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

20. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.

Updated terms will be published on our website with a revised effective date.

Unless otherwise lawfully agreed, changes will not retrospectively alter the terms applicable to an order already accepted.

21. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales and applicable Commonwealth laws of Australia.

Nothing in this clause excludes mandatory rights or protections applying under other relevant laws.
